Homemade Vanilla Extract
Vanilla is at the center of our home and kitchen. Some of our favorite things are vanilla: sugar cookies, whipped cream, cake icing, cream soda, and ice cream. In fact, we add it to coffee to make each cup taste delicious… it’s our little secret!
At our wedding one year ago, we made our first batch of homemade vanilla extract to give to our guests as a reminder of our love story. It was a huge success: a few months later, the requests came pouring in from friends and family who wanted more of our vanilla. So we made it our mission to have the next batch of extract ready to share with everyone by our first anniversary!
